July 28-30

For rising 4th-8th grades

African Americans have played a major role in the history of this nation.  For many years, their achievements have gone unrecognized and overlooked especially when it comes to business.  We will be learning about African Americans in the business world- those entrepreneurs and barrier breakers that changed their industry or the business world as a whole.

Join us as we explore the successes of people such as Clara Brown, Madam CJ Walker, Kenneth Frazier, Chris Gardner, and Damon John.

This session will be held via Zoom from

1-2:30pm EST.  The campers will receive information and be encouraged to ask questions in order to gain an understanding of the importance of African Americans in business.  We will utilize Quizlet, word puzzles and video to support the information presented.
